Wells Fargo branches out with renewables

The deal will provide renewable power to meet 100% of the company’s eligible load in seven states and Washington DC.

Wells Fargo took a big step closer to reaching its sustainability goals in 2021, thanks to a deal with MP2 Energy, d/b/a Shell Energy Solutions, that will address 100% of the energy consumption of approximately 1,200 Wells Fargo properties.


Shell Energy is to secure Wells Fargo around 150,000 megawatt-hours of renewable energy annually for approximately 7 years to its Californian and Mid-Atlantic operations.
